Does this look as if the ships are actually moving? And if not how do I fix this?

It might be cause the image cant be found there.

Kind of.

motion blur would help.. theres no sense of motion in it at all... and the tides on that planet must be really screwed up, having something that huge, that close... its amazing they arent being drawn into each other...
lighting is off too.. the sun is behind the planet, but the planet is illuminated like its on the other side...
-
ships need to be farther apart, and more motion blur is needed
-
loose the backgound and make a new one. Black background with white stripes on it lined up with the ships... you know... "motion lines" :D
hehe... yea a bit more motion blur would propably help :nod:
Also, move the big ship a bit further from the small one, it will propably balance the pic in general. Now there's too much stuff on the lower right corner and it looks a bit unbalanced :)
Otherwise... exiting chase ;)
-
forget the motion blur people always overdoes it ruining the pic add smoketrails...engine trails
-
Needs to be more of a kinetic picture. Bring the ships up closer, and have them heading roughly towards the camera. Or away. Have the front one at a separate angle from the rear, like it's twisting to lose it, and maybe include some kinda beam coming almost straight at the camera from the last one, to indicate that it's actually a pursuit.

the ship isn't the same size as the planet. it's closer to you than the planet, you silly goose.

Ah, but the blur to the ships gives it that distant feel. Hence, the planet, even though we know its farther away, looks closer. ^^;
