Which might make sense, since a community of 12 people is gonna be kinda close-knit and have its own rules, while a community of 100,000 is gonna have hardly anybody knowing anybody at all, and have the rules be effectively unenforceable on the occasion that someone goes rogue or you get a wave of new trolls.

I quite agree. One hilarious post I read said that environmentalism was useless because God said we could have dominion over the world so do what we like, and that he would "provide" - thus they believed that if ecosystems were destroyed God would magick up something else. :lol:

yeah, it's in the 'will you marry me' thread (my previous post, first link)...

but what's even funnier is if you look at the person who posted that (her name is: ****inA i think) she's got three 'additional' pictures, and in the third picture she actually looks pretty cute, but she's got her finger... her middle finger ... in her nose!

LOL I remember seeing that one (in fact that poster said the same thing about five times in various places), but there was another one that really took the cake: one guy said that Christianity is better than than these "other blasphemous religions with their false gods and false promises" because he met Christ in a dream, who said that only this religion has "salvation" and therefore his "rational thinking" allowed him to reason that this one provides the most benefits. :D :lol: :D (quoted bits are his)
