Title: fs1 & fs2 £10
Post by: tems on August 04, 2002, 05:15:51 am
i saw a few people were looking for replacement fs2 discs.
hmv (http://www.hmv.co.uk)  and software first (http://www.softwarefirst.com) both have fs1 & 2 (both games on one disc) for £9:99 plus postage on their websites.

i know its annoying to pay again for something you've already bought once but 10 bar aint really much.
anyone who burns, drinks and/or raves will easily go through much more than that in a night so it's a minor to spend that much on some longer lasting entertainment.

dunno if this'll be any help to anyone outside the uk

BOTH games on one disc? That's like six discs. Maybe if it was a DVD though.

if it was on a DVD disc, then you need a DVD-ROM drive to play it... doesn't make much sense,

i don't know in 'pounds', but in 'US dollars' you can get FS for like $10.00 in stores like wal-mart, etc.

don't know about fs2 though

There are 6 disks.... 2 for FS1, 3 for FS2.  And a disk with patches and manuals IIRC.

Hes talking Euros, pounds aren't worth anything unless they still exchange them... fs2 was $19.99 in walmart, and fs1 was $9.99

Both wrong :ha:

Pounds ARE still in use in the UK but the UK IS a member of the EEC (or EU as it is now known)

What are you on about, they are still exchangeable to US$ and Euros. BTW if you turn the Euro symbol on its side it looks like Quake II.

One pound (£) is about 1.5 euros (€) or 1.5 dollars ($)...

So why are they worth nothing? In UK there aren't euros, even if they belong to EU.

And Hippo, tems was talking about pounds, not euros.
