Title: Editing ABL File?
Post by: Nekhron on April 09, 2016, 07:27:17 pm
Can someone please tell me how I would edit an ABL file, fix something by replacing code, and then saving edited file so it still shows as ABL file?

Hi Nekhron,

if you use something like notepad++ you can open the abl and it will save back out as abl.

Another benefit would be the code highlighting, this makes it a little easier to see what you are doing when writing the script

Thank you Karl, appreciate the response and answer, Sir.

Perhaps you can help me with one other problem, if you can, and dont mind.   I am trying to install the 1.8 patch to MCG, but it wont run on my 64-bit Win10 machine, even with compatibility enabled.  Is there some other way to get it installed?   I am trying to get MCG ready to play PvP with my friend who is serving overseas.

That would be awesome Sir.  If I could just get the 1.8 patch on my machine I would be set.   I look forward to your reply
