Ok. I have GoPro Studio. I have some non Gopro files. Gopro wont let me segment videos into clips.
Been looking for a free (or near free) video editor, mostly to trim, or segment into several clips. Adjust zoom and saturation. Real basic stuff.
Suggestions?
The ones I tried leave watermarks, shrink audio, or suck to use.

Try the open source Shotcut. Works with pretty much anything on any OS and it's actually quite powerful. The GUI is a bit confusing though but it shouldn't be a problem if you're just looking to do basic stuff.

Forgive the obvious but windows movie maker and iMovie are both free.

I used to use--what was it?  VirtualDub, I think.

The things this editor can do are quite amazing! Confusing, yeah, but powerful in the right hands and with some practice. I was using this myself and can definitely add my recommendation for Shotcut as well.
