I hated the origional version of that song.. Worst track on that CD....

Best cover of a song I have heard was System of a Down's cover of Snowblind by Black Sabbath....

i recon it's the offspring's second worse track (after original prankster). Why do they only release the crap tracks? I think my fav track of theirs ever is Blackball.

The best cover ever is Summer lovin' by the vandals. That kicks:wakka:

All remixes suck eh?

Try listening to the 'speed racer' remix, it's commonly thought of as an Aphex Twin remix but it's not actually him. It totally kicks ass

I bought a pretty good CD of remixes of Nobuo Uematsu (the Final Fantasy guy) at http://www.majesticmix.com.

Agreed. I can't believe I actually bought one of their cds. Thank god someone did me a favor and stole it. Unfortunately though, they took all of my good cds too.

Remixes lend themselves better to differnet genres, however you cant remix crap so that rules out everything that isnt D&B or classical........... infact D&B classical remixes are = teh win

I was always under the impression that you put (sic) when someone else had made a spelling error but you were quoting verbatim. Nothing more.

Post here or PM me if you want to explain this a little more though...

Some remixes can be better than the origional, ie where someone has taken the vocals of an R'n'B track and given it a dance or garage backing track.

Though i'm not so fond of remixes where people try to mix two songs, ie britney spears and eminem.

Why not? Have you never heard the excellent Girls On Top remix/soundclash that is I Wanna Dance With Somebody mixed with Autobahn by Kraftwerk? Seriously. It's called I Wanna Dance With Numbers - and could I make any of this up? :) ;) :D

In addition there's Smells Like Teen Booty... ;7

Original prankster was semi ok, Deny you was better... not by much though. I kinda liked both of them but not as much now.

Busta Ryhmes , beilive it or not, did a remix of "Ironman" called "This means war". Pretty Good imho.

Also i found a reggae remix of Stairway to Heaven by Jimi Hendrix. Hella tiight and better than it sounds.

My Favorite Remix has to be Shout 2000 by disturbed. that song is sweet. seriously
