Title: How to move around in Screencam Script?
Post by: HLD_Prophecy on October 10, 2016, 08:28:42 pm
Hey all, I'm trying to use the Screencam Script in my mod to capture some cool camera angles for my trailer (I want to use the Script to slide past a scene with Open Broadcasting Software doing the video capture).

Can someone explain to me how to move around - specifically, how to slide - while the script is activated? It seems to use weird motion controls that I can't figure out since there's no guide.

I thought you just flew it like a ship.

Change facing with keypad, slide with either shift keypad 1-3 left/right (although i have had to use shift 1-3 non-keypad on occasion) and shift keypad - and + for up/down

Those are just the default strafing controls; Battuta is correct, it's just flown like a ship (because it IS a ship; one fast enough to compensate for the massive slowdown from the time compression used).

Actually, aren't the controls shown on HUD after you go into screencam mode?

Okay, the Shift key is what I need, thanks!
