Title: Out of curiosity

Is there a way to texture large multi-texture ships quicker than having to manually paint them when you import them? Like taking the Hecate class into truespace - and then going through all her textures trying to get them in the right place.

EDIT: How the hell do you get .cob files into Lightwave?!?!

Simple - convert them using 3D Exploration (or Deep Exploration, the new version) into something like 3DS (or the Lightwave format in your case). The problem with Truespace is that the POF2COB converter adds an overlay to all maps - the maps are still there, but they won't show up on renderings. There should be a way to remove it on TS, but I never really looked into it, since I always convert them into 3DS and import them on MAX.

Download Deep exploration the same as 3d exploration but you can still use it after the trial period. And is more stable imo.
