Title: FRED2 Open Vector Subscript Out of Range
Post by: Bryan See on December 29, 2016, 09:41:17 am
Seems we've got a problem sneaking out of our hands here. The vector subscript tends to slip out of valid range in some circumstances, causing it to terminate unexpectedly and abnormally, or, in other words, crash. The fred2 open log did not show anything, as usual.

And those circumstances would be what, exactly?

Leaving FRED2 Open idle while doing some other task in windows, in Mission Event editor, presumably.

This bug has been known for a while, but there has been limited progress on tracking down the cause:

So do me. Open vector subscripts go beyond range when I do something else. How freaking disappointing. :(
