Title: Modeler and Texturer collaboration...
Post by: AqueousShadow on August 12, 2002, 03:47:11 pm
I was just wondering if any texturers out there would be willing to team up with me in a buddy-buddy kinda way. Since, I can't texture myself, I would need someone to texture for me. And we can work mutually. I hope someone out there is willing... :sigh: Also, you have to be open to some (or maybe lots of...) constructive criticism :D

We should make a collection topic only for searching texturer.
I don't know but you are the 3rd-5th person searching a texturer (including myself).

For constructive criticsm I can do that...at least something I can do ^__^

If you want an example project, I have just the thing...

That's good to know.  If it really gets desperate, then I'll have to do it

Is it Free?  Is it easy?  Will you teach me?  Better yet, why don't you do it for me?;)

Skullar of TBP made a good texturer's guide, bit outdated now but it taught me and a few other peeps, it was long and complicated but if you stuck to it you could learn to texture well .

I gotta bug icefire to upload it onto the TBP site.

well ..the only solution is to learn to texture..hell I DON'T LIKE it at all ..but sometime u got to do the ugly stuff...
Until i discovered Lithium ...TS texturing was a TORTURE...
now with lithium is very easy..singel texture multitexture uv map ..what ever...u name it .can be done...
GQuan was created in TS(hell i am TS god) and unwrapped in Lithiu..LOD0 4 x512x512 maps(due to some cammo reason),but could be resized to 4x256x256  , then photoshop RULEZ..easy as "FRIKKIN' PIE"

Lithium?

1) Is it free?

2) If the answer to 1 is 'yes' where can I get it?
