Does anyone know what ship that is on the Freespace: The Great War box/cd cover?

I just can't make it out. I assume it's the Lucifer, but it certainly doesn't look like it.

Ahh. Tis true. It looks like it has Shivan textures... I suppose that's why I was so = :confused:

They did, it took me a couple of seconds to work out what it was when I first saw it as well.

I'd tell you what else was on the box but I've got a different box to you - featuring PVF Anubis and GTF Valkrie (sp?) class... as far as I can remember, heh.

Original box (mine) had PVF Seth (?) GTB Athena, PVF Anubis, big-ass warp-effect and Lt. Ash from the starting sequence was kinda faded in.

No Way! The Athena looks great. All the really old ships look cool, (Apollo, Valkyrie, Athena), and yet all 3 got left out of FS2. Shame really.

I got a very difernent FS1 coover/cd cover.

But yeah it is a typhoon class destroyer.

The athena looks cool yeah.

Practically everywhere, but easiest found on theVWatch archives. And well worth getting too. No FZS2er should be without these 3 ships (Apollo, Valk and Athensa), and the other ones are worth a look as well.

Yay, I can put the Valk to good use.  Look for it in ITHOV, maybe even Police Action, replacing that god awful Ulysseys.
