The GTCv Vilvakis is a dual role assualt corvette / carrier. Used for rapid bomber strikes, the Vilvakis sacrifices armamant for the ability to hold and maintain up to 10 fighter wings. Vilvakis rarely operate alone - normally they provide fighter support and cover for other corvettes such as the Deimos and Sobek.

This is simply a (reskinned) version of a model I made for another campaign - it's fully finished, except for balancing the default loadout.
It's damn cool starting misisons from that fighterbay (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

"Well I believe ther's someone watching over you. They're watching every word you say. And when you die they'll take you down and take you through. You'll realise one day that the grass is always greener on the other side, the neighbours got a car that you wanna drive, and when time is running out you wanna stay alive. There is no wrong, there is no right, and the circle only has one side...."

I'm beginning to understand why (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/v.gif) didn't use this sort of design - it's pretty tough because the ship needs to move while you're in the middle of takings off - or my paths are dodgy.
Plus, they'res a slightly dodgy clipping bug on the side, where it becomes transparent when you fly through upon takeoff... i'll have to test further (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)
