here is something to shoot Narn Cruiser.
(457 p - lod0)
-
457?
seems a bit high, for that
are you makeing the textures or is the cap'n still doing that?
-
well is not that high...:) the wing is very curvy.. the all around policount is lod 0 - 457 ;lod1 - 304; lod2 - 141 ; lod3 - 69
the guns and engine area consume quite much in this model..but is ok:)
Texturing in this model is ME:)) Capt'n is busy with the B5 station textures

This will help you see the poligons
-
Curvy = poly count.
-
Curvy (also)= extreme pain in the ass! Although it looks nice. :)
-
The StarFury has more polys with no performace issues...so im not worried :D
Infact I've already tested an un LODed version in the game and performance was acceptable with three wings of them flying about. So we're ok!

Curvey Also = hard to hit, in game.

It'll be from the guns and underside detail. Personally, I'd only have used a triangle for the barrels. Works fine for me. But ne'ermind, looks neat.
-
somehow looks wrong to me...I can't quite place it tho...
-
well were the guns atach to the main hull, the cockpit in general, and the engines all have too many polys,
I wasn't going to say anything for fear of bringing up an old ugly paturn,
but becase some other people have said stuff I'll risk it
