Title: Freespace Retrospective Update

Hey all,

I've been (and will be) extremely busy since grad school started and (as you've probably noticed) I haven't continued the Freespace stuff on YouTube. I'm hoping to get back to it this summer and, depending on whether I'm doing anything else for those three months, will be shooting to get through the rest of Freespace 1 before the school year starts again.

Thank you all for the support and the continued interest. I know it's a long wait but making AI have interesting conversations and starting a mech game take a lot of time, and so does helping teach data structures to undergrads.

I hope you can get back to this once grad school has consumed you in a vortex of depression and spat you out to begin the slow climb back up the hills of wreckage towards once more experiencing human joy.

Hey firesteel, your post reminded me that I have been meaning to watch these. Just finished and i must say,  this is quality work! Conveyed many of the same thoughts I have on FS in eloquent video form.

Keep it up,  I eagerly await more!

Thanks guys!

The benefit of just focusing the channel on this (once I start back up) is Freespace content is much easier for me to write about than a lot of other games. Heh heh 15+ years helps.

@Battuta
Yeah summer's going to be my climb up from the depths of hell to once more jump back into it in September because life choices are not my strong suit at the moment.
