its an assualt fighter, not a bomber.

it has:

1x lazer banks   2x Fireing points
1x missile point
3x beam turrets

it needs some useless winglike structure and a big enginelike thing on the back and the cockpit needs to be smaller.

Make 'em type 1 (?- the forward firing beam type) and you can control them with the SEXPs.

Bobboau, that ship is neither going to be terran or vasudan, i am makeing an entierly new species for my campaign, ermm actualy thats not true either theres actualy more than one species with combined forces to fight the shivans. Pretty much like the GTVA.

the reason why the cock pit is so big is because, it has 4 people flying it.

Co-Pilot
Engienear <looks after the systems.
Gunner <targets and Fires the beam weapons>

and it as a long Voiage vheicle capable of staying out in space for days at a time, therefore it will need cooking, sleeping facilitys and a change of crew.

True, but if I remember right... Doesn't the corvette have a 100-man crew lying in the back (the non-command module part) doing all the repairs and running the ship? Or did I remember wrong.
