Title: Can your FS2 profile picture be replaced with a custom one?

I feel there is a file somewhere you can change and replace this photo.

You can put custom images (supported format) into data/players/images. To override the old ones you need to know how they are named in retail though.

Pretty sure they had to be in .pcx format and at a very specific tiny resolution or FS Engine will have a fit. if i recall correctly  :)

I'm sure it says in the manual somewhere.....If memory serves from 20 years ago :nervous:

Funny how those little bits of customization put in retail have largely been forgotten and left to disappear along with old sites like Volition Watch.

You are correct!  Page 18 lists the stuff that is in the linked thread HLD_Prophecy provided above.

Given FS2 is open sourced, couldn't that be changed to support more modern image formats?
