http://fs2source.warpcore.org/releases/Fred2-3.2.exe
This doesn't have the new ship limits 9as we are currently experiencing difficulty with that), but it does have support for the new mission flags.
Thanks to WMCoolmon, owner of the Fred2 source.

Is this for the FS2_Open_3.2.exe ?
-
I was thinking might it be cool to have a POF data editor in fred it'self, useing FS2's code base
-
that would be interesting...but you'd have to have dynamic loading of pof data for ships, either that or a 'reload' button...
-
no it would load a POF edit the data then save it when you're done, the models showen would display changes as you make them
-
figures, my question doesn't matter
;)
-
Anyway, it should be possible to directly change the data when you save the POF-after checking that the file did, indeed, save correctly, of course :D.
What parts of the POF were you thinking of being edittable, Bobboau?
Edit: For clarification
-
you know stuff like subsystems, paths, guns, other...
-
Where can i find a readme file, or something that explains what's new in this release?

That's about it for this release, ship trail toggling and support ship repairing
-
bumped the wrong bloody thread...
-
ya, well I'd still like a POF editor, I know nothing of MFC or object oriented programing for that matter so I can't implement that
-
*wants engine glow and dock point editing in Modelview*
-
Considering ModelView32 hasn't been updated in over a year, I wouldn't hold your breath. I'm not sure the original author of the program is even working on it anymore. The best of both worlds would be a blend of ModelVew32 and PCS. Until such a program exists, you can use both side by side. (Do editing in PCS, save, then switch to ModelView32 and hit the convenient reload button to see what your changes did.)

Updating the pof and tbl simultaneously in FRED2 would be necessarry IMO.
