A fair point since you can`t rust without water and oxygen. However the ship could have spent some time docked to a comet with plenty of both :)

Say that this ship is a nebular ship. Nebulas really tear down ships.

Looks like an old Great War ship retrofitted by pirates of summat.... I like the textures - although a military ship would probably have been either mothballed or rebuilt if it got into that state ;)

I'd make a good nebular derelict, but only if the plot of a campaign involved time travel or was set thousands to millions of years in the future.  Nebulas are still hard vacuums by terrestrial standards, so it would take a LONG time to get in that condition.  At first I thought it was a well-done beast infection (HW:C) rather than rust.

We could do with a few derelicts actually...

If you don't want a Derelict, give it the Fenris skins. that would look good as a pre-Great war Light Destroyer. Then they came out with the Fenris cruiser, which was more powerful, but weaker. So then cruisers since then have been smaller. This would help explain the weird ship classes of Fs2. If you do skin it Like the Fenris, I really want it.

by the way, how did you lose the model? Some people "Think" they lose things when they reinstall fs2.
