IS it an older version? That frame doesn't look like the current one. I had trouble too so I got a Fresh DL and reinstalled from scratch. You should do that too. At least with ICQ it's not a hassle cause you just type in your number and it configs your home file agin as if you never left. I was off ICQ for almost 1 year...

Tell us how it turned out?

BTW Make sure you delete the old one and track down any residual files... Just to be sure.

unknown reason or unhandled exception? (two different things)

but the all mighty reinstall usually does it. If your ICQ is (i think) 2001+ then it should have your list on the server.

 It's a pretty good useless piece of software, considering I use it for all my IM communications. I wish all my software was as "useless" as Trillian.

Trillian is the best IM program out there in my opinion.

Miranda ICQ (http://miranda-icq.sourceforge.net/)

Far superior to any ICQ client. :)

It doesn't also work fully with MSNIM, AIM and YIM accounts though. ;7 :D

And how many people actually use ALL of those at once?  Now how many actually like having to download more builds because AOL likes being jerks?

Thought so. :p

Only ICQ connects on trillian for me... I tried to install it a couple of times... about a month ago... I still prefer to have seperate IMs

Hey, it's good when you need to talk with people who all have different preferences and you cannot convince them that one IM program is better; just get one that does it all... :p :D

Trust me. That's impossible. The only solution is to get all of them. :p

And leave them all open at the same time? Think of the system resources though... :p
