Title: Urgent: need help with my CD-drive

I really need help with my cd drive. Every time i insert a cd´the drive spit it out again and sais that it can't read the cd.

Any help is appriciated

d/l new drivers, if it doesn't help, well, buy a new cd drive...

:D Check BIOS to see if installed or switch to auto (key I think is F1 at computer powering up...just keep pressing). If can not get into BIOS check at startup see if the CD-ROM is installed when loading...it should say something about it. By the way if this is not the problem try what venom2506 said.

Just one thing to note if your new to BIOS don't make any other changes that are not neccessary, you can seriously cause a major problem for your computer.

Sounds like its dying....
Thats what my DVD drive did before it went TU on me...
