Title: what happens at the end?

i dont understand, i havend done anything wrong, i havent used any cheats etc, i get the the subspace node engage my drive, heart pounding, and i am suddenly transported to the main menu again, so i tried again , and again, and again, and i spose it wont let me complete it, so what does happen at the end then??

You mean the ending of FS2; right?

Campaign is completed. The last mission is always win. I mean you can just jump in the middle of the node right after start of the mission, and campaign will end... But obviously real Alpha 1 jumps in the very last second before the nova :P .

Cutscenes sometimes don't play correctly. Here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BlCM-3Ivbo) is what you missed.
Do you see debriefing after that mission?
