Title: Using FRED with a mod

How do you use FRED with a mod?
I know the and -mod (mod) thing, but either I am doing it wrong or it wont work on my comp.
Can someone help?

Actually, any launcher should handle this properly. Which one do you use?

I a tually find knossos a bit nonchalant with where it saves mod missions.
