Title: How many inputs does FSO recognize from one joystick?

I want to combine my HOSAS setup into 1 device but I want to know what the limits are so I don't waste my time with inputs that don't work

I understand there's a 32 button limit and a 5 axis limit, but what about hats?  Just 1 or can I add more?
