Title: Game Crash on Startup

Ran debug as directed by the FAQ sticky, but I have no idea why this is happening. Adjusted the hud setting in game and it crashed followed by repeat crashes when I try to restart. If anyone can help I'd sure appreciate it.

I cant make a new pilot file, I'm unable to get past the initial cut scene.

So.. the log makes it look like the pilot file is the problem. What I think the next step is, is to navigate %appdata%\HardLightProductions\FreeSpaceOpen\data\players and move all of those files out of that folder. If this solves the problem, having those files available to submit to SCP would be beneficial to fixing this kind of crash in the future. That's why I wouldn't delete them yet. Cut/Paste them into a folder on your desktop or something to get them out of FSO's load path. Then try starting FSO again.
