Title: Freespace 2 -- matching speed ("M" or "A" on HUD?)
Post by: spectata on May 08, 2020, 08:14:35 pm: I am playing the MediaVPs version of Freespace 2.

When matching speed, instead of the letter "M" appearing next to the Throttle Indicator (as in Freespace 1, and as shown in the Freespace 2 manual), it instead shows the letter "A".

Is this supposed to happen? If so, why has it been changed?

Post by: Solatar on May 09, 2020, 12:11:34 pm: FWIW, there's a line in mv_root-hdg.tbm, in mv_root that sets the $font: 2. If this line is removed, the A changes back to an M.
