I hate to post this, but I'm having problems in getting a model made in Blender 2.9 to be exported into dae so that it would be opened using the POF Constructor Suite, where it would be converted to a .pof file.
I've followed the instructions (https://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=84335.0) on the dot, but when I opened the .dae file, I've noticed that the textures are empty.
Attached are the files. These are the ones I am making for the Galaxian3/Starblade starter pack that Starlord sent me a PM last October.
I hope I'm not the only one. There are others experiencing the issue.

That tutorial is exceedingly out of date in terms of blender versions. What I have found to work is to have the material be using the 'Principled BSDF' shader, and put the basic texture in the base color slot of that shader. That's all.

I did. And I agree that this tutorial needs to be updated. It is long overdue right now.
