Title: Nodewars - Moderator Shuffle

Since the NW in its current form still needs some tweaking, we've decided to allow the NW players to democratically ELECT their moderators.  From now on NW is everyones' baby.

Now this is a request from the people that actually made NW what it is - the players.  We've all put alot of time into nodewars and I for one have enjoyed taking part.  However occasionally i've gotten very angry at the way its run.

So:

A) This vote is run in the Hard Light forum where no Nodewar moderators can fiddle the poll.

B) The most popular mods will be voted in.  This is final, this is what the players want - I don't care if you started it or not, Nodewars belongs to everyone who takes part in it now.

C) We request that the HLP admins enstate the Five most popular elected individuals as the new moderators in the NW forum.  The old moderators are to be reinstated as standard forumite accounts.

D) DO NOT VOTE FOR YOURSELVES

Good idea, but would it not be better to allow people to vote for multiple moderators? That way you get a better reflection of who people would like to see running NW...

I think first-past-pole works better than Proportional Representation, personally.

Either way...we still have to see what shambles happens when the damn non-NW forumites start thinking its funny to vote.  All I can do is ask them not to but there's bound to be some *s*h*le hanging around waiting to ruin it all.

Now if this was a bi-monthly event, then we wouldn't have to worry about mod power-gaming.

Well you can just hope that doesn't happen, at least nobody here can adjust poll results (well the admin can but they shouldn't :)) and you should only get one opinion per person... hopefully it'll work out :)

Methinks this shoulda been a public poll/vote thingy where ya can see who's voting for who, to prevent........unpleasantness.

Ok just because it seems non-NWers want to vote, ill tell u my vote before the whole poll goes tits up.

I vote for CRAZY_IVAN80

And if i had to vote for others, my second would be Kami, and lastley Mad.
