from the avault
A New York Post article published on Thursday reports that Vivendi Universal has decided to put all of its Vivendi Universal Publishing assets up for sale - but that the sale won't include Vivendi's software games unit.
this means we aren't going to be getting FS3 anytime soon... (though we knew that already)

And what does Vivendi have to due with FS?

yes they own blizzard

No, this means we'll never see B5:ITF anytime soon since Vivendi owns Sierra, which canned the project years ago.
-
edit: never mind

Aren't the code people making 'FS3'?
I mean if we wait for intrplay to get off their a$$es nothing will get done... (besides we'll end up with a superior game).

Oh yeah BTW
3 weeks ago Volition put an ad up on polycount.com (Q3and stuff) saying that they are hiring and need talented individuals for some heavy stuff (more than the casual modler may apply)...
So what's u with dat? :wtf:
I thought they were on hard times??? And they don't mention this here? I only saw it in my quest to find robot people...
The ad is still there if you don't believe me... :nervous:

They are probably hiring for their next project? Summoner 2 and Red Faction 2 are getting closer to being done.....

'twouldn;t be a bad job, methinks.......
What's the link, anyways? I'm curious what experience they look for........even if I'd never more over to the USA to work (more likely to try and get a job with someone like Mucky Foot in Scotland, and probably more as a programmer than a modeller)
EDIT - had a look. Might actually be in with a chance of working in something like that in 1-2 years times if I take a few extra-curricular courses in Max and Photoshop.....

if Scotland is seperated from england, it would be good place to work!!
