I just picked up a copy of MechWarrior3, and have played many other high detail games. I was just wondering; is there a way to make the engine glows that missiles use a lot larger, without upsizing the model (I want a very large engine glow). This is pretty much just a graphics change, and I'm not sure whether it has Source Code written all over it or not.
I am trying to make the TVWar project be as graphicaly stunning as possible, but I think this needs to be done anyway.

You just increase the size of the glow in the pof file..

If I can't do that in ModelView, I can't do it. Can it be done?
-
you can't change engine glows in modview as far as i can remember and, even if you can, it doesn't work properly, do it in pcs and use the reload function of modview to view changes

Oh, that. That crashes, I hate doing 3d artwork with a keyboard, but hey, I'll try it. I might as well. I've captured some sounds from MechWarrior that I will use.

I could get my weapons guy to look into that aswell. The new cap weapons I have look stunning.

Which version did you try? The latest one or the olderThe Alliance Productions FreeSpace 2 Kit (http://alliance.sourceforge.net/files/Software/AllProFS2Kit.exe)
I get crashes with the newer one but the older one is reasonably stable

What about with FS2MM's pof editor?
