Post by: Hippo on September 08, 2002, 08:56:47 am: Has anyone else noticed that the GTD Repulse is destroyed before the Galetae in fs1? How can Koth be its captain in fs2?

Post by: aldo_14 on September 08, 2002, 09:05:11 am: I think they could have ships with the same name......... besides which, the Repulse would probably have been a 'hero' of the T-V war. So it's not a bad name for an NTF ship.

It's probably just an innocent mistake, but you can argue it either way.

Ships of the same name is not an uncommon practice. The Enterprise has gone through three or four USN carriers by now. Not to mention a sci-fi series or ten...but we won't go there :D

I'm sorry mate, but there was no GTD Repulse in FS1, nor was it even mentioned.

It was destroyed at the same time as the galetae, and you can see its name on a cbani
