Title: Contoversy

Has anyone else noticed that the GTD Repulse is destroyed before the Galetae in fs1? How can Koth be its captain in fs2?

I think they could have ships with the same name......... besides which, the Repulse would probably have been a 'hero' of the T-V war.  So it's not a bad name for an NTF ship.

It's probably just an innocent mistake, but you can argue it either way.

Repulse...where was it in FS1?

Ships of the same name is not an uncommon practice.  The Enterprise has gone through three or four USN carriers by now.  Not to mention a sci-fi series or ten...but we won't go there :D

Yeah, ships always have names continued. HMS, Illustrious, Invincible, Ark Royal. I do it in FRED, NTCv Abercrombie, etc.

I can't stand that mission in fs2.  It's so illogical that it borders on insanity.  The person that thought of that mission needs to be publicly shot in the face with a 8 gauge shotgun.

Um...why?  What's wrong with it?  I rather enjoyed that mission...

i guess i could see some idioticies.. but it had the most "war strategy" out of any in the game (which is rather sad)

I'm sorry mate, but there was no GTD Repulse in FS1, nor was it even mentioned.

From the ovvicial :V: FS1 ref bible:
At ease, pilots.  I’m Captain Shima, and I’ll be delivering your command briefs while you’re onboard the Bastion.  I extend a welcome to all pilots formerly stationed on the Repulse.  I wish your reassignments could have come under better circumstances.  I know the loss of the Repulse is a great blow for all of us, and with it, we’ve also lost many friends and loved ones.  We’ve also lost many great pilots, and we need to double our efforts here if we plan on stopping the Shivan fleet.

It was destroyed at the same time as the galetae, and you can see its name on a cbani

It's almost the same as the Galatea one...

That's because the Repulse was the original name of the Galatea. Then it was changed. Cannonage dictates that there was no Repulse in FS1 that we were aware of, let alone destroyed.

Actually, Koth was Admiral of the NTD Repulse, he might have renamed the ship from GTD Something or other, to NTD Repulse.

But you can see its name, the Galetaes name, and the minnow, intrepid, and other various names in a command breifing ani where the lucifer circomvented the blockade.
