VR looks to be a recent development... I have to say I am WOWED by the FS2 VR option on Knossos.
I couldn't help but wonder, is there a way to have a similar experience with FSPort?
I'm trying to get beyond the floating HUD, and was wondering if there were any good VR cockpit options for FS1 ships. I tried Ship Interiors and the generic VR cockpit, but neither seem to work. There is a "FS1 cockpit" mod, but the HUD elements get jumbled when I use it.
So my questions are:
1. What are the dependency options for a decent FS1 cockpit?
2. Is there any way to slot/substitute FSPort/FSPortMVPs with V2 FS2 MVPs?

I'll see if I can find a VR expert to chime in here. FSPort should be compatible with any VR mod, but I haven't tried to do it myself.

There are no dedicated FS1-era cockpits at the moment.
However, it should be not too difficult to get the Ship Interior cockpits to work with FS1 ships.
I'll have a look and see if I can figure it out and release a VR FSPort MVPS.

Okay, based on the great work of KamiGaAtaeta, we've integrated some of the FS2 cockpits for use into FSPort.
As such, we've also release a similar one-click-to-VR mod for FSPort called VR FSPort MVPS.
Hope this works for you!

As a long-time Freespace player who returns every few years: I was hoping VR was implemented. I was delighted when I read that Freespace 2 was playable in VR. I thank you and the other people that I can also play the first part in VR.
I played Freespace for the first time when I was 12 years old. If I had known back then that it would be playable in VR at some point... Thank you so much!
