Please try to keep all related questions in one thread.  Is the crash in this thread (https://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=99433.0) still a problem?

You should be able to run the "Ship Interiors Mod: FS1" and it will give you all the mods you need for this.

yes,running fs2 VR with VR ready generic cockpit still crash

Can you run a debug build and generate a debug log?  The attachments in the other thread are .mdmp files which I can't do much with.
