It probably was intended for something that got cut in the final release. The only time I ever saw it used was in one mission of Warzone

Probably attraction, but then Kevin Sorbo got too old for the role.  :D

Maybe it was intended to have a mission sent to explore it at some point
After all  " spacehunk " is close to "spacehulk " , maybe it was a reference to those warhammer 40000 derelicts piece of ships.
