yes, a good tip for newbies... very good

Additionally (maybe no-one cares..) other blending modes like "multiply" can really be useful. Multiply will be useful in doing things like blending darker layers onto lighter ones (

well, only the newbiest of newbies don't use screen, but it's good to teach them anyway.
