Title: Screencap Contest: October 2025

September is still ongoing, but in order to bring the contest back to its original schedule, here's the October topic: Shivans. It's spooky season, show me Shivans.

Rules:

1: No HUD! (Jump nodes are ok though!)
2: Images must be presented as they would be as seen with only the FSO engine rendering the image. Remember that these entries help to show off what the engine can do for new players! So that means no after the fact photoshopping (except for cropping), and no external shader programs (reshade and the like). No lens flares, contrast shifts, colorizers, etc.
3: Max 3 entries per person!
4: Again, these screenshots are a way to promote Freespace and the FSO Engine - let's keep it in good taste.

Lovely screenshots, I do want to remind everyone that the theme for the submissions this month going forward is Shivans. I'll keep keep the Nereid in the running given that technically applies to the theme in spirit given the Nereid's final mission but if you want to submit two more screenshots that stay true to the month's theme you're more than happy to.
