the 'release date' for the first chapter was 7 weeks ago, I think we missed it a bit :D

So when it's done should do now :)

AAH Don't be sad. 7 weeks is just one little fraction of time. Just think what fraction would be a 10 000 years. We would live in the next iceage and play Inferno! ;7

Only now you understand why W man called it INFERNO!!
I bet that he is preparing for a global warming of the planet with this campaign. Wit the Inferno on the run, there WON'T be another iceage.

Actually when it was for FS1 it was titled differently. Can't remember why I changed the name...

well the FS2 version isn't as old as MT or BWO :)

Nowadays, most of us see the main FS & FS2 campaigns as kind of dull. Especially when you think of MT's Apocalypse, OTT's Gaia, and BWO's Vanir "bomber" (it's a freaking cruiser!). But I tell you the truth, Inferno is going to turn your world upside down. You don't know what firepower means until you put yourself up against some of the next-generation destroyers in the game (like the pictured Earth-Alliance Lindos-class), and you don't know what being an intercept pilot is really like until you experience Venom's Banshee. Oooh, you guys are going to be in for a treat.

well steaks word is good enough for me.. i can wait, but for how long? ;)

Meh I was here before modelview, pof cs and fsmm2 when mods where done by cob2fs2 and hex editors :)

Anyway the people who have known about this project for the longest are me and Setekh. Since I started this campaign I've waited longest to see it complete.

Oh if your wondering how Setekh knew about the project first well he is the reason I registered here :p

When I visited the Inferno for the first time it was on 3rd october last year. I stared at the ships and my jaw went down when I saw the Vasudan ships. AAARGH! You've gotta love'em! Since, then I visited the site almost everyday to check for updates. Not to mention the forum. :D
Title: question
Post by: Knight Templar on October 07, 2002, 07:00:06 pm
Hey will inferno have logical Battles? (i.e. not wave after wave of each wing going at eachother) and logical capship battles like sending a Battlegroup or armada (at least 6 cruisers, asorted Frigates a corvetes and one or detroyers/carriers?) i missed this the most in FS2 ... it was mostly 1v1 cap ships or 1v2 and fighters were just wave after wave, instead of more "realistic approaches"

Well there should be few 1v1 capship battles. Since your based on the flagship of your fleet there's usually more ships around to protect it :)

The fleets will act better together from chapter 2 onwards, the EA ships are weaker than the average GTVA one so require to be in larger groups than their GTVA counterparts.
