I used a combination of PS' Layer effects , ... Inner and outer glows as well as a Blur effect onto a seperate layer over the blade done in a base white.
To get the effect of her jumping and a sort of Matrix styled freeze frame I motion blurred her hip-feet at a level of 5,....
Thoughts and comments please?
**Plus ... anyone know why the img tags just leave this as a dang link ? **

IMG doesn't like non-specified extensions, like queries and anything non-jpg. And the site you've put it on has disabled the pic apparently.

Clickin the link still get's it to show up though correct ? I just flushed my cache and history and was able to access it.

"The Extension 'jpg' was deactivated by an board admin, therefore this Attachment is not displayed."

Just click the link and it'll open an Explorer FTP. Then just copy the pic and paste into the FTP window.

No dice ,...it's just opening an IE window and copy/paste just opens the image into that IE window
-
Being FTPed now ... grabbed CuteFtp ;)
Should be on site in a moment ... thanks

Eh? It should work like a normal C-Drive browser window thingy.

that's nice, yes very nice
Except I'll give you some crtiticism too.
1. it looks odd that only part of the person is blurred.
2. is it just me or is the saber a bit too "solid"? That's just my opinion....
Keep up the good work :)

This is the reason I post these images really :) Thanks.
The blur was just on a whim ... a weak attempt at a Matrix styled thing so I really didn't expect much.
With the saber being too 'solid' thou ... can you explain what you mean a bit please?
Thanks again

Well, when I think of "lightsaber" I usually see the blade as being somewhat see-through. I think it's just that I imagine that a saber of photons shouldn't be too opaque...
But then, I don't really know too much about the star wars universe so I can't give any factual SW info relating to saber opacity so.... :)

Even if that were so, the saber is on a black background, so there's nothing to show through anyway. :)

I think the lightsaber is just to thin, not much complains otherwise (well, there's the obvious lackof background, but... )
Did you make the mesh?

Oh no no no ... I can't model a cube abd get it right :D LOL
It's using the Stephanie model from DAz3d with Blackhearted's "Ki" texture set from Renderosity and a few other things from renderosity and Runtimdna.com
