Never get trapped in the shockwave of a Constellation carrier. They make a big boom. And yes, I had to use the Shivan Super Laser to take it down and take this shot:D

Believe it or not, all that fire in the background is the shockwave.

That looks way too big for a single ship.  That's more like what you get if you nuke the science cruiser carrying the Tsunamis in FS1, not a generic ship.  Tone it down a bit. :)

It looks cool, yes.  Kind of like when I took Dark's planet model and made it blow up when I was sitting in the center of it.  The space around me started filling with random explosions and all of a sudden turned bright orange. :)

Cool, but not realistic.  If you want an explosion that big, find some reason for it. :D

I was under the impression that that little ship in the middle was the carrier...

The little ship in the center was Alpha 1, a GTF Mustang Alpha.

I turned down the explosion. Somehow I made a typo, and if a Constellation carrier exploded ten clicks from you, the explosion would rock your ship.
