Well, it looks like this was an idea that was started a while ago and I get a strange vision that it probably ended because there were too many clashing ideas about what happens next ;)

I don't know if that's the truth, it's just a suspicion ;)

The most popular solving-Capella campaign was FS2.9...someone dropped by, preached a message of a big campaign, then disappeared.

I was skeptical when he first started talking about it, incidentally.

I would like to see a new, different campaign where the GTVA explores Shivan space, sort of like Technological Superiority. The GTVA decides that it's only a matter of time before the Shivans expand into GTVA space, decides to make the first move, and begins an aggressive exploration of Capella and the nebula beyond.

Spearheading the expedition is the GTD Expilion, whose most valuable asset is a tactical genius. Nicknamed 'Ender', after a 20th-century character from a book that influenced the early stages of GTVA training grounds, he is the best chance the GTVA has of surviving this round with its ancient adversary...

DUN DUN DUNNNN!!! :D

The site isn't meant to be public but I might as well spill some of the beans:
Paradigm Shift is the name for the campaign idea that IceFire, Kellan, Styxx, myself, and a few others have been having.

Pretty much use a lot of the major SCP advances, tie up the FS plot, etc.

It'd be set far enough in the future from FS2 and the reunification with Sol that the storyline would be compatable with popular campaigns such as BWO, Machina Terra, etc.

Whether or not it'll be done most likely depends on how everyone feels after BWO is released.

Yeah, that's old.  I was the Interface artist mentioned on that page before the project was shelved.  We were all already stretched too thinly to work on Paradigm Shift too.

it was canceled so I releised a lot of the ships I had made for it, though they were all in fairly early stages of development.

it involved many shivans, a much bigger GTVA, a few small factions (these were only mentioned to alow for compatability with other campains), a lot of shivans, two new races in (depending on who you asked) a new part of the galixy / a new galixy, a shivan super portal of ubber doom, and many many shivans... a lot of them.
