Also, can you have them all installed at once or do they overwrite eachother or?
-
Someone had them up as a VP a while back. That's the best way to get hold of them.
-
If you can find it, yes. They're still on Milliways (http://www.penguinbomb.com/lightspeed/) too, IIRC.
-
Mine is at http://fs2source.warpcore.org/mediavp/ls_neb.exe
But someone else posted a more complete VP in the campaigns forum somewhere, IIRC.
-
Yeah, here it is again ;)

Any chance this file could be added/transfered to the SCP website or something? Somewhere obvious? People sure have been asking for it a lot lately, and the Milliways one is complicated, with no installation instructions for beginners. Heck, put it in the scp.indiegames.us (http://scp.indiegames.us/download.php) downloads' .VP Files section (it's used often enough!), or at least the Milliways section.
Plus I'm going to have to take this location down someday...

Thanks for the help dudes :-)
Another question: If you use this VP, does it overwrite the retail Nebulae in missions such as those in default FS2, etc.
-
yeah, if you use this vp, you can kiss the old nebulas goodbye. but good riddance. just use it, it all works out.
-
No actually this does not replace the retail Nebulae in the FS2 campaign... until someone changes the missions so it does. :blah: neoterran, you're likely thinking of another of Lightspeed's nebulae patches for retail, which is now included in the mv_advanced.vp anyway. But yeah, I'd rather the better packs than the originals :)
-
Perhaps we are looking at a possible project for someone whois bored, lol.
-
oh my bad. that's right, theres the retail, the enhanced lightspeed ones in media vps, and these. Well i just put these in my mediavps folder anyway because i run mediavps with everything and then everything that needs to use them can. I guess only derelict does at the moment, a whole bunch of mods still use the old nebulas and sometimes no nebs at all ;0(
