Title: Looking for UV mapper and converter

The BWO team is looking for someone to UV map and convert several new HT&L models for Blackwater Operations.

These meshes are for various Sol and GTVA capital ships, the texture maps are already done and these new meshes are to bring the detail in BWO on par with other HT&L enabled campaigns.

With the campaign nearly finished, this much needed art asset update is one of the last hurdles.

I was originally supposed to, but things got out of hand IRL.
I know it doesnt seem that way with how much I post on here, but posting on HLP is a distraction from the work that I have backed up already :{

Really wish I could have gotten that work done. I still have the models, I may try to do one or two of them, if it's alright, and if I find the time.

How many models are we talking here and how complex (polywise) are they ?

I have the 3DS Max exporter up and running, can UV-map and know my way around POFing. And most of all, I want BWO released within my lifetime.

umm... about a dozen or so important ones, five or so extreemly important ones, 5000ish polys

i have no idea what pof file is sorry :(, checked maya and don't see anything like that.

the game file, there is a max plugin and a file converter for truespace cob files.

It looks like some progress on the HTL Amaunet is being made, hopefully I'll have some pics soon.

The Amaunet is gonna be reworked, model wise... I wasnt happy with the first HTL encarnation

Ace mentioned that to me. Are you gonna start from scratch, or do you want the UVmapped and turreted scene of the current version ?

Im not sure yet, Ill decide when I get there, but most probably it will be almost from scratch
