The Gigas now has 18 turrets. The final will have 76 which will include:
1 SBFred
15 beam turrets
20 anti-fighter beams
20 flak guns
20 laser turrets

That thing is massive! [shameless p1mp]That thing is three times the size and will have over 28 more turrets than the SJ Cernunnos![/shameless p1mp] Of course, it's a super juggernaught while teh Cernunnos is a juggernaught, and i started later and am already in the POF editing stage . . .

I only learned to turret last week and have tons to do, a few new ships comming soon, the Ancient fleet, the Sechat-Hor, the Gargant, tons of mission and story stuff. The Gigas has been in production since the end of Feb. I want to finnish it in a few weeks (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
The Gargant is bigger, about 36km, it will be the most powerful ship in my Shivan Amrarda (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

And they'd probably all jump in and destroy the Cernunnos w/o noticing it was there.
Shivan 1: Felt like we just hit something.
Shivan 2: Was probably an asteroid. Want some Bosch Beer?
Shivan 1: Sure!
(And Bosch Beer will cause the Shivans will become extinct. They will all get drunk and kill each other w/ their plasma weapons.)

Something that is laying in my HD and for some reason doesn't work, for now. That's not the size, coz I've already made bigger ships. That's not the poly count or the vertice count, coz there lower than the ones of the colossus... Well, there's something wrong in the model, just have to find what...

Did you glue on all the lights right? If you didn't it will crash COB2POF.

I don't even have tried the turrets yet, it's still a basic model, but I have what woomeister calls shards of death, so I may have missed intersecting polys or flipped polys somewhere, but this model is so huge, for modeling, that's a drawback, believe me :þ

Shards of Death is caused by poly overload (>800 per subobj). Since you have no turrets how many polys do you have?

That's wierd, I can get up to 62 on the Cernunnos using TS1.
