Title: Caligari trueSpace 7.6 available for free
Post by: Herra Tohtori on July 24, 2008, 08:52:26 am: It appears that Caligari has released a new version of trueSpace - and it's downloadable for free from their web pages. Go ahead and grab it - who knows, it might even be better than trueSpace 3.2! ;7

After registering here (http://cart1.caligari.com/web/Truespacemainreg.aspx) on Caligari's web pages, you should see the download links.

made me laugh, ... Truespace is the prinicpal modelling sooftware you need if you want to make a Freespace fighter etc.

Downloading now, does it need a serial?

It was their decision to release it for free, so people could have something to use to create models for Virtual Earth (I'm guessing to compete with Google). They're not going to time-limit or feature-limit it. It's the full version, completely free. You can thank MS for that (shudder), since they were apparently too lazy to create their own modeling app and instead bought someone else's.

ah nevermind, they hid the damn thing :D
