Made me laugh.  Kudos to whoever thought it up.

Yes, it is somewhat funny.

As usual, I'm oblivious to any sort of humour regarding "Post in here to cheer it back up. "

Read it, and . . .

eliex really doesn't get it.

The planet is blue.  It has the blues.

...follow yet? :p

It's blue because it's sad, see?

...but we might want to get something epic, to suck people in.

Any suggestions? We could do something cheesy and trailerish like: "You are Samuel Bei. The final reckoning -- between Earthborn and exiles, destroyer and preserver, father and son -- awaits."

This is intentionally cheesy. BP deserves something more elegant.

How about:

"It is the year XXXX, and the GTVA returns to Sol."

Argh, it hangs... :blah:

That happens in every campaign, though.

Goober.

I have yet to find out how to change it myself.

Why not ask him to do it? He's not that nasty... :nervous:

Is too.

Incidentally, the way I've understood it is that changing board descriptions involves tinkering with the actual forum (code) to some extent. Which is why that right is reserved to administrators.

It's easily set in the admin control panel.  In fact, IceFire changed the BWO forum description just the other day.

I put the current description there as a humorous placeholder, but people seemed to like it. :)

Ah, I see it.

Hey Darius, maybe you could use a portion of the synopsis for WiH. Or maybe even a self-made Khonsu II quote? ;7

Hrm. I'll have to think long and hard to come up with something that surpasses Goober's gem.
