Title: Installing Inferno R1

To install R1 for SCP all I should have to do is download the installer and run it right?

Yes, the installer should place the INFR1.vp into a folder in your FS root directory. However, you should ensure that your Inferno folder is named "INFR1" as some mods that use INF as a base, such as Sol: A History requires the folder to be named as such.
