Title: 3.6.10 Game Wed Nights 8pm GMT - Dont Let Multi Die!!

After having my innocently enthusiastic post announcing my return to FSO locked... :mad: I now would like to announce that I will be hosting games every Wed night at 9pm GMT!!

Last night was a rip-roaring success!! :D 6 people aint bad! Also saw some old faces - CC, Mura, and even Clonewolf! William Wolf - we want u there every week lol!!

Come along to the game on Sat then again on Wed! Let's get the numbers up so we can create a rebel force large enough to counter the threat of the Shivan omniocracy that is threatening to disrupt the very fabric of the... (zip)

Anyway, i'll be around when i can, which should be most of the time since night for you is mid-afternoon for me, though i do work in the evenings. cya'll on sat i hope!

Post by: captain-custard on June 04, 2009, 02:06:24 pm: thats because you are all state side , a ping of 200 -250 is ok and very playable , the problem last night was because at first you were connected to tehe standalone servers, (which takes away any host advantage ) these are based in the usa at the moment and were obviously on the fritz.....

one thing that is important is that before you do host is to fully understand the set up on the host side(in game ) so dont be afraid to ask someone

One of the most wonderful aspects of the FSO community idea is Community based, community controlled, Multiplayer! I mean I'm all for single player and modding, but Multi is really cool! Let's get the numbers up and make sure it doesnt die!! It's far too fun for that to happen...

just a question did you play with these tables and if so when , as last saturday there were some drops and ppl being bumped from the game ......

if you wish to test something im willing to set aup and host specificaly for that so that no real game time goes down
