Title: Which maps do you like better? We need your input!

Recently I've been discussing with Goober upgrades to the classic mods that are included in SA modpack. One of topics of our conversation was SF Chimera.

We've got a few possibilites to choose from and that's why we need your input.

1. Do you think that old classic maps are better? The big adventage of them is that they're detailed. On the other hand they're very, very low res :(

2. Another possiblity is to use an upgrade made by FreeSpacKing. Their big adventage is that they're higher res and pretty, but less detailed.

3. Ask FreeSpaceKing to make one more remake, this time more detailed.

Now it's up to you to vote in the poll and make a diffrence! :)

That said, I'm more interested in the prospect that SA might be starting up again?

SA was never dead. It was just on hold and a very little progress was made on it. However I'm working on bringing it back to action :)

I admire his awesome map-making skills, and god knows he's made some absolutely breathtaking ones before, but this particular one doesn't appeal to me.

IMO that ship's model isn't that great---the thin bits don't work for me. But the original was decently textured.

Anywho, I vote you most make another upgrade.

Also, make sure the missile ports are triangular, not round.
