What is your favorite GameCube/Nintendo franchise?
-
OMG HARVEST MOON
PLANT TURNIPS
-
Most of these didn't exist when I had a 64. :P

For Solace... ;)
Uhm, voted Pokémon. I played it a lot, and still have the gross majority of the games from that series.
I don't really like Zelda. I got two games from that series (Link's Awakening from GBC and Four Swords for GBA) and found them boring after a while. I've always considered Fire Emblem and Advance Wars interesting, but could never try them.

Mobius: Play Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time. Best Zelda games ever.
As for me, Metroid. Metroid Prime was a cinematic masterpiece, liberally sprinked with a deep, almost unexplored backstory, and boss fights worthy of commendation.
Not to mention that it looked freaking amazing for a Gamecube game, and still looks awesome when I go back for a trip to nostalgiaville every once in a while.

Also, are we sure this guy isn't a bot? :nervous: I don't know if they do polls, but hey, WE MUST BE VIGILANT

Corporate research? Lurker trying to break the ice? I mean, there's no links there at all.
Voted Fire Emblem. Played Path of Radiance about four times, and am working my way through Radiant Dawn for the second time, and on Hard. It's really hard.

zelda. i waste away weeks in front of those games. my dorm that was full of religious halo 3 players stopped completely and switched when Twilight Princess came out
-
I'm not a Nintendo fan anymore. Star Fox 64 was great and enjoyable, my right hand got tired by pressing A button too fast to shoot lasers very quick. xD
-
even though it's not a nintendo franchise can we get a poll addition for cooking mama
i love cooking mama

I have to go with Zelda, though Metroid is certainly a close second. (Much <3 for SSB too.) I've heard the Zelda series described as something of a Criterion Collection for games, and I have to agree with that assessment: each of the main titles displays a very high degree of polish and design acumen. Games like Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time frequently make "best of all time" lists for very good reason. I love the Zelda mythos, I love its style, I love its music, and I enjoy the hell out of playing the games.

Pokie manz

Tossup between zelda and metroid. Chose metroid.
But then OoT and Wind Waker look at me with puppy eyes and I go all D'AWWWWW. :(
Also, OP, seriously? If you're not a bot and this is you making your first post here, then be cool and introduce yourself. Don't be so shy. :P

Okay... Let me show you my Pokemen! Hehe, just kidding.

I voted Metroid... though the fact that I just played through the epic that is Other M might have something to do with that. ;)
-
+ 1 for Metroid ! First now ! METROID RULZ !!!
-
Easily the Zelda Franchise. Zelda 3 "A Link to the past" is an all-time favorite.
When I first played this as a kid in 1995 I was simply blown away by its graphics, music (first time orchestral music was converted into digital game-music, w00t!), gameplay, athmosphere and this big ****ing world you were able to explore. Secret of Mana was the only game that caught me like that back in these days.
But Metroid and Pokemon are also shiny lights of my childhood-memories. And Smashbros. ... and...

Metroid! Metroid! For the love of god, Metroid!

Mobius: Play Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time. Best Zelda games ever.
I'm pretty sure Four Swords and Link to the Past were in the same GBA game. Nice music, nice graphics, apparently nice story, but still...
-
Hm, I've only ever played Mother 2 (Earthbound)...
-
my zelda adventures started with OoT. what system was Link to the Past on?
-
The SNES, though there was a GameBoy Advance port of it.
-
ah. i guess i need to find it.
-
rogue squadron.
but i see now option, pity
-
was that one nintendo exclusive?
-
Metroid Prime. Not Echoes, I hated that bastard.
-
was that one nintendo exclusive?
Rogue Squadron 2 & 3 were Nintendo exclusives. Rogue Squadron 1 was released in 1998 on Nintendo 64 (November) and PC (December)
-
i never got to play 3, but i hear it was boss.

These kind of demotivational posters are the worst.

the creators of the true demotivational posters (that are in fact, demotivational) would be well within their rights to beat to death anyone who makes crap like that.
