Title: [Solved] German text help!

I downloaded FS2 from GOG and installed FreeSpace Open, everything works. But... It has german text everywhere. I am not german... i dont speak german....i dont read german WTF!
I looked in regedit at the language but it already say english. It wouldnt be so bad but I need custom keyboard controls and I dont know what keys im changing  :mad:

Someone help please :confused:

That's bizarre. Could you post a debug log, please? Check the FAQ at the top of this forum for instructions on how to generate one.

So far GOG has only distributed the English version of FS2. And no one has ever complained that their GOG-purchased game was in German. You sure you didn't do any weird **** at any point?

Ok heres the debug log attachment.

I noticed something strange, the windows registry editor says English but the launcher registry says German.

I seem to remember I did have a german version but uninstalled it along time ago.

I'm guessing you still have German files or registry keys still floating around, then.

Try changing it to English or something.

If you experience any weird problems, such as a stripy screen or failure to get normal maps, please let me know. I have an HD5770 myself and have had weird **** going on with it and OpenGL.

I found what I guess must have the old registry keys and edited the language , seems to have done the trick.

Ill keep that im mind jeffy, thanks for your help guys
