Ok guys I just rebuilt my computer, I had a PSU spike and it took out the mother board PSU and the hard drive, FS is gone off my system, I have FS1 and FS2 here. but I need my FSopen back and all my mods I had downloaded form here, . I would look around myself but right now I'm on a cell phone not the computer, it won;t be up and running for at least three more days. ( no cd drive to install FS yet its otw)

Well I guess the first step would be to run the FSO Installer from the top bar here.
EDIT: Oh crap, no top bar, well just google 'fsoinstaller'
-
Yeah. Or manual installation (which doesn't include all 'dem mods, though).
-
Manual installation FTW.
But whatever works for you.

see the stickied list in the missions and campaigns board for all the mods. EVAR.

It always has the most peculiar issues, but since it is an online installer, it is up to date.

Thanks Vader, I'm half way through downloading now I looked before I started the download and its installing everything I had except I didn't see Blue Planet, which I downloaded by itself last time. but I probably just missed it :)
Only bad thing is now I have to start Derelict all over again :(
-
Ok guys everything is there including Blue Planet:) but the launcher doesn't work. everything is in the correct directory all I get is an error:
The Launcher Must be in the same directory as the binary you are trying to use
I click ok and the launcher starts, but nothing is there
Never mind my above post,,,,,I feel stupid.
had the wrong media vp's selected.

well that still depends on the installer's links being up to date doesn't it?

Well, yeah. But compared to offline installers that are put together once and then left as they are, Turey's is reasonably up to date.

Gentlemen I have Freespace and Freespace 2 installed completely, right back to where I was before the .......we'll call it the big crash :)....... believe it or not everything runs better now too.
My computer was running a stock power supply on a computer that originally came with Vista on it but was built for XP SP2, the PSU caused a burnout of the plug that connected to the main board and the 160 gig IDE hard drive. I now have a 850W Orion PSU and a 500 gig SATA hard drive, and for some reason Vista runs better now than it did before, imagine such a thing a computer running better with a proper supply of power. Freespace used to be a little glitchy and laggy, that's why I never tried to play online with yall, but NOW its like I am actually in space fighting against the enemy :)
I'm not a computer expert, but I can hold my own, but I'll be damned if I had any idea at all that any company would build a computer with inadequate parts. Now my computer is done, its a Frankenstein. The only thing left that says Emachine is the logo on the front panel, of course that's the only part left that's Emachine too.

Ok Now I just found out that I did forget to calibrate my stick LOL, wasn't a good thing when a pirate in Derelict got past me and I hit the throttle and nothing happened LOL

Yup. Also, people have a tendency to forget that if their mod is in the Installer, they are usually the ones who put together the configuration file for their mod, and therefore they are responsible for updating it.
-
Well, Turey's installer must be totally up to date cause that's all I used to reinstall all the mods I had Blue Planet WAS included in the installer last time I had it I had to install it manually. Now I gotta look through my card index ( yea I still have one) and find my FS login and password to try to play online again.
that and look around and see if theirs any new mods I don't have yet :)
At the rate you guys mod FS I'll never run out of things to play :)
